  • EagleFeatherSeaTrial
"EAGLE FEATHER" 72-foot Marlow Explorer, May 2011. Sea trials on Lake Michigan. Eagle's wake at top speed - 30 knots! — is perfect and a testament to the project repair crews at Pier Yacht Werks and Slater Yacht Service who put this badly damaged vessel back together as "good as new."

  • DoradeSurvey3
"DORADE" – Marine surveyor, Henry Pickersgill at the tiller during Brooks survey sailing trials 2010. "DORADE" is "on-the-wind," which is why the mizzen is furled. Castle Hill is in the background. Pickersgill reports that the well-reported "magic" of "DORADE" under sail is true!
  • DoradeSurvey1
"DORADE" is hauled out at the Newport Shipyard for the drydock portion of The Brooks 2010 pre-purchase survey. With her somewhat narrow beam and powerful lines, "DORADE" certainly has the classic look of the early 6 Meter class, which is where Olin Stephens, "DORADE'S" famous designer and first owner was reported to have started.
  • Mason44Constance
Mason 44 1987 "CONSTANCE" arrives in the UK. "Henry came recommended by a true daughter of the sea known to us both from Martha's Vineyard. He answered the call at short notice, although he was busy, because we only had a few days in Florida before we had to fly home to Britain. His report was clear and sensible. The owners trembled. We got the price we needed to make it all work. It's not easy coming from Europe to buy a boat in America and you need good backup. Thanks Henry." - Tom Conliffe, Salisbury, England Sept 2011.
